Design-build code and safety upgrades to a 50,000-square-foot CNG bus painting facility.
This design-build project involved upgrades to a 50,000-square-foot METRO CNG bus painting facility in Los Angeles.
The facility included stripping and sandblasting bays, robotic paint booths, dry-mask preparation booths, maneuvering areas, and interior offices and locker rooms.
EFS West designed and installed gas-detection and ventilation equipment to bring the building into compliance with applicable requirements for CNG vehicle service and maintenance work. The project was completed in November 2009.
